Web Access

Further on web pages, the W3C has redesigned their website, with a new Accessibility page that introduces the what, why, where, and how of web accessibility.


We are going to be changing the AUT website after some criticism of its accessibility

Successful Transition Course

Time check

I realised this was not on New Zealand time. It is now Thursday, this is a check that this is the timestap too.

Government release

The NZ government has rejected a parliamentary committee's recommendation that a single agency should be established to oversee the disability sector. The government would a establish ministerial committee on disability issues, chaired by Disability Issues Minister Paula Bennett.

The response by the DPA was fast - and negative, I'll put up a link later.
